First Post - Truck

This is the first post of our "Outdoor Adventure Seekers" blog.

It is also our first attempt at blogging. 

Effective April 1, 2015, we both retired. Mike from a job/career of over 32 years as a geologist. Since then we have been finalizing our plans and arrangements to hit the wide open road this summer. We can't wait to explore and experience the US at a much slower pace than was possible when working full-time. We commonly crammed as many activities, and travel miles, as possible into our limited vacation time. Our travels now should be much slower paced and laid-back.

One of the first steps in our plan was to buy a pickup truck onto which a pop-up truck camper will be attached. With the truck camper we will travel the US, and Canada, over the next few years.
